Draft - Big dark roast notes and some dark chocolate. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Dark roast, sweet and boozy notes with some molasses. Panzuriel (2371) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Location: on tap at Taproom
Appearance: Inky black. firm head of lighter tan foam.
Nose: Dry pine needle hoppy. Black coffee bitter.
Taste: Dry rich and roasty. Pine hops come through half way. Dusty and earthy.
Body: medium to full, but still fluid.
Parting thoughts: A different Imperial. Quite a bit of earthy and pine hops. The impression of a dry pine tree. In an imperial stout. Different.

Sample at North High on 5/18/16. Pours pitch black with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, roast, some chocolate and grassy hops. Malty and chocolatey flavor with some roastiness before a grassy hop finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a large creamy dark tan head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was fruity and piney hops with anise and a bit of roasty malts. The flavor was bitter with piney and cactusy hops, anise, toasty malts and coffee. Long hoppy finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Disappointing.

Sample at the tap room. This beer pours black with a medium thick light brown head that recedes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Medium to full body with a roasty character and flavors of coffee, bittersweet chocolate and malt. The finish is malty with a mildly bitter coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
