Taster from a cask with a medley of citrusy hops (including citra). An owner tells me this is no longer being marketed as Indian Rub due to PC issues, but it’s the same base beer. Almost entirely hazy amber red orange color. Thin khaki head. Leaves good thicker sheets and spreads of lace. Best looking beer of the 12 I tried today. Awesome big citrusy grapefruity resiny aroma. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lighter carbonation, but pretty impressive level of carb for a cask (apparently it was *just* tapped). Moderate bitter taste, light sweet, good amount of zestiness. Freakin’ awesome zesty hoppy amber ale. Best of the hoppy beers I tried today. Along with the BA dubbel, this was a stand-out. Draft pour. Semi-hazy amber with a beige head of foam. The aroma has notes of toffee, grass, and caramel. Lighter to medium body. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Draft sample at NHB. Poured a clear dark reddish amber color with an average fizzy tan head that was mostly lasted and had excellent lacing. Good malt and citrus hoppy aroma. Medium to abundant body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate well balanced smooth flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid session brew. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Draft at north high. Darker amber pour, medium to fuller body. Decent for style, I just hate the style. Malt forward . Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Sample at the Brews Cafe "Spring Forward" beer festival on 03/09/2013: Clear copper-amber color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, herbal hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is sweet with a roasty malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Spring Forward tasting at Brew’s Cafe on 3/9/13. Clear amber to copper pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, butter and some caramel. Malty and buttery flavor with caramel character before a grassy and somewhat roasty finish.
