UPDATED: JUL 16, 2015 Draft at Fall 2014 Keyaki in a North Island sampler. Clear goldenrod color with a small white head. Slight grain and grassy hop aromas present. Mainly grainy taste but a slight citrus flavor comes out as it comes up to room temperature. Refreshing and good mouthfeel. 2015 re-rate: On tap at BBNI. Clear gold with a perfect white head. Grassy aromas still present with some citrus and biscuit notes as well. Crisp and clean on the palate. Very fresh and refreshing. Good biscuit notes on the palate as well and highly drinkable. Creamy buttery finish. Really great in Hokkaido on tap! GenkiGonzo (1092) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 27, 2014

Sweet malt aroma. Pear flavor, cereals. Can’t expect too much from a pilsner, still quite a smooth and refreshing one. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 18, 2013
Tap at Keyaki fest. Golden colour. Aroma is wheaty, not massive amount else, but decent. Taste is pretty good, wheaty, light hoppiness, good dry finish. Touch of fruit too, almost tropical. Apricot maybe. Pretty good. Getting more into pilsners I think.
