Pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium thin foamy white head that recedes slowly. Partial sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat and cherry. Light body with flavors of cherries, malt, wheat and a bit of citrus zest. The finish is fruity with a short mildly tart cherry aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. rondphoto (4514) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Out-of-control head (as noted by others), even on a slow top of the glass pour. Aroma invites, but taste doesn’t back it up. Balance depends on sour tartness rather than hops, which makes it a poor pairing with most foods. Interesting, but not a keeper. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - AUG 1, 2011
11.5 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice wheat texture to it, lightly fruity, yeast, and a bit of a grainy note. Appearance is a clear golden amber with a medium to large head that diminishes quickly. Taste has got some fruitiness to it, wheat, and yeast. Palate is somewhat tart on the aftertaste. Going down it’s medium to low carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky and medium bodied. Overall, a run of the mill craft beer good but not great. Cheers! bluejacket74 (1996) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2011
12 ounce bottle, bottled on June 16th, 2011. Served in a Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with a huge off-white head. I couldn’t fit the whole bottle into the glass because the head was so big, I had to wait for the head to settle down some to finish before pouring the rest of the beer into the glass. There’s only a small amount of lacing on the glass. The brew smells like bready malt, wheat and some cherries. The aroma seems to get stronger as the beer warms up some. Similar to the aroma, it tastes like wheat, bready malt, sweet/tart cherries and a bit of yeast. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick with high carbonation. Once the carbonation settles down, it’s a good drinkable brew. I wouldn’t have any problem buying this again. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2011
12oz bottle. As others are noting, this had an explosive head - I poured 4/5 into a 12oz bulb glass and over half of it was head, I might have done a sloppy pour but it spilled all over my counter. Slightly hazy orange color. Soft, somewhat thick carbonation. Cherry aroma is there, but a bit too much apple aroma as well for my tastes. I might just not enjoy cherry in beverage form. Interesting, but I wasn’t a fan of this beer that trolls you with excessive head.

Bottle. Sour cherry and wheat malt aroma. Hazy amber color with explosive head. Tart cherry and wheat malt flavor. Love me some Michigan cherries. RoscoeJackson (377) - Michigan, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Infected? HUGE head. Lots of carbonation. Very thin. Slight sour, tart flavor. Refreshing. Not really bad, but I didn’t particularly care for it. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 27, 2011

Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruits, wheat and rather sweet. Flavour is wheat, biscuits, fruits and mild berryish and malty notes. Slight tart notes in the finish.
This beer starts with an aroma of light wheat, tartness, and a hint of cherry. It pours an amber with a touch of red, and a gigantic white head. There’s a visible cascade of carbonation in the glass. The cherry flavor is subdued, and comes across more as a tartness. Fairly full mouthfeel for a summer beer, but not bad. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Bottle. Amber, clear, large but thin foamy head -- lots of carbonation. Tart cherry aroma with wheat. Taste is a little sour. Palate is light to medium with the carbonation. Overall decent but the palate takes away -- may be something with this bottle?
