COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The devil made us do it. From the ABV and IBU figures to the fiendish use of Cascade, Perle and Willamette hops, Lucifer was whispering in our ears the entire time. Citrus and pine scents greet you and are followed by the sharp bitterness expected of an IPA. The beer’s true wickedness is revealed in the smooth Pale, Crystal 30 and wheat malts that surreptitiously broaden the beer’s appeal to more than just hopheads.

Darker than many IPA’s, caramel color. Nice strong citrus and pine hits the nose as I pour from bottle to glass. Oily look to it. with very little head. Bitterness hits the tongue first, with some sweet citrus right after...then back to bitter on the the tail end. Thicker feel in the mouth, as expected from the oily appearance. This is better than I expected, just a tad to much bitter in the aftertaste to really ascend.

12 oz fat bottle at home. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, bready, hay, earthy, some citrus, dry, moderate bitterness, not one I would revisit with so many other choices.
