bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque black with a full brown head that slowly drops to a cover, mottled sheets of lace. Taste is toasted malt that grows substantially as it moves through the palate to a well-balanced hoppy finish. A great brew, worth searching out. red stripe bottle into Le Boeuf. love the style as I do this interpretation. More coffee than I’m used to, but ends on a citrus note. well done. I can’t stop nodding, from agreement, not blacking out. arminjewell (9646) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - SEP 24, 2014
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, roast, coffee, nice sweet milky lactose, hints of nice orange peel, fruity notes, touch of grass. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate, roast, coffee, nice dark fruit, caramel, sweet dark sugars into some orange, finishing sweet, bitter, full bodied. Nicely crafted. crackedmachine (481) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 22, 2014
Pours dark, opaque, near black with excessive tan head. Aroma a balance of sweet roasted malt and mildly piney, mildly citrus hops. Flavor follows, but ups the hop presence wit bright, bitter grapefruit. A solid, tasty BIPA, but not among my favorites. fitwitchik (433) - Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2014

This really good looking black beer pour with a thick cream of wheat colored head. It looks like a stout put has that very floral aroma. Blending of hop flavors and coffee stout notes makes this an amazing creation.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2015 Tap. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, Ashes. Flavor is light sweet, lightly bitter, roasty, kinda watery. Medium body, roasty and lingering bitter finish. Later tasting in bottle; much better mouthfeel, solid beer. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 28, 2014
