Very hazy dark amber beer. Big off white head. The head tastes of dark toffee and citrus and pine hops. Palate is softish and semi dry. Creamy malt, still with the dark toffee. Seamlessly integrated with pleasant citrus pine hops. Trace of red berry fruits. Trace of aniseed. Soft finish. Very drinkable.
Bottle. Poured clear light copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter hop flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2011
This beer is a reddish-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Fruity hops in the note along with notes of sweet malt. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and flavors of grainy malt and pine in the background. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering grapefruity hops aftertaste. Straightforward, well-made IIPA all around. crossovert (12631) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 13, 2015
355ml stubby. Very earthy double IPA not too malty. Some earthy bitterness not the most interesting and way overpriced. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2015
On tap at Null. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Floral, a bit earthy and citrus.

Big hoppy beer on tap at Slows. A tad astringency otherwise solid IPA. Worth a try. deyholla (11486) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Bottle thanks to Sean! Pours a clear deep amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a decent amount of grassy and floral hops with a bit of grapefruit and backing sweet grains. Flavor starts smooth with grapefruit and floral hops but transitions to more of a bitter grapefruit finish. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - FEB 13, 2016
Bottle. White pepper, berry, caramel malt and orange peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. A bit on the sweet side but not bad. alexsdad06 (10265) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 24, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice resiny, mild citrus and earthy hop character, some toasted malt, very light caramel. The bottle says 8% while this lists 9%, either way it is easy to drink and I don’t get much alcohol. I sometimes overlook these, but many are pretty tasty solid beers. 12oz bottle, bottled 10/23/12. A wet-hopped double IPA? Sounds awesome. Mostly hazy red-orange color. Big foamy dense off-white head. Good lace. Looks great. Hoppy nose. Super dank, resiny aroma. Piney, big bitter taste. Very light caramel malts. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Bigger body, not sticky or syrupy. More of a clean, dry finish, but with a big resiny hop aftertaste. Yeah, I went through these 12 fluid ounces way too quickly. Definitely going to pick up a couple more of these, if I can. This stuff is great.
