(Draught) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel, nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon. Flavor of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, caramel, and grass. Aurelius (5479) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 2, 2015
Misty golden brew with a coppery greenish tinge. Interesting squat bottle with a good label. Hoppy, spicy, lightly sweet and slightly chemical aroma. Assertive bittering, some citrus pith, lightly vegetal. Outside of that, it was just sort of like a golden IPA. Medium body, good carbonation. Longish bitter finish. Clear, orange-amber with a creamy, off-white head.
Orange-peel, nutmeg, light pumpkin/squash aroma.....
A nicely different take on the pumpkin theme. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Bottle: Hazy burnt golden body, super soapy & bubbly eggshell cap. Aroma of moderate pumpkin spice, seems nutmeg & ginger are the strongest components. A bit of citrus peel, very mild pine, & some toasted graham crackery malts. Flavor is a little watery at first. Some wet pines, bitter citrus pith, & strong white pepper earthy tones. The hops are overshadowing the pumpkin aspects on the palate. Very mild cinnamon, nutmeg up front but it quickly gets washed away. Lasting bitter finish, lots of ashy pine. Slightly resinous. Slick, watery body. Not exactly what I want in a pumpkin beer.

It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was malty and hoppy. The taste was of malts, cinnamon, grassy hops with spicy ginger. Tasty. b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - NOV 25, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a completely transparent light caramel gold with foamy white head. Smells of piney and citrus hops along with mild notes of pumpkin and a bittersweet mouthfeel. Tastes like it smells with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, but sweeter and stickier than I prefer. bnokk (538) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 12, 2014
APPEARANCE - nice light orange / pumpkin color. Bright white head.
NOSE - Hoppity hop hop hop for a pumpkin.
FLAVOR - great pale / IPA flavor. He flavor of pumpkin shows up at the very end when the beer warms up. NOTES - My friend told me that this was brewed when The Great Pumpkin joined forces with the Easter Bunny. (But apparently that's not true.) shigadeyo (3764) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 2, 2014
11/02/2014: North Peak Hooligan Hoppy Pumpkin Ale... cloudy pale orange color with a frothy off white head. Soapy grapefruit hop aroma with a touch of canned pumpkin when the beer warms. The flavor is also quite Hoppy at first sip, but then a decent amount of noticeable roasted pumpkin and a touch of cinammon and ginger. Medium-ligjt body, smooth. Overall this is an interesting pumpkin offering. The hops and pumpkin actually work pretty well together. This is a good change up for a pumpkin beer. 12 fl oz bottle shared by Scott. bubblehouse (1569) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 25, 2014
Was curious how a hoppy pumpkin beer woulr work and in this case it really didn’t. The hops was way overpowering the pumpkin. Worth trying but probably wouldn’t buy again.
