Tap at Jolly Pumpkin. Pours a clear copper color with almost no head. Aroma is straight up caramelized malt with maybe a touch of toast. Tastes like a basic watery red ale. Certainly not bad but just boring. Some hop bitterness in the finish. Ok. drfabulous (7931) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 22, 2014
12 ounce beer. Malty amber ale with some big caramel and toffee. Sweet. Decent for style. ChiGuy68 (599) - Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Tasted on tap at North Peak Brewpub. It poured a clear copper with an off white head and solid to streaky lacing. Solid malt aroma with a slightly toasted malt taste. pablo951 (671) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2014

First time trying this brewer, not a great beer lacking that next step flavor wise but drinkable BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2014
Draft at Zingerman’s Roadhouse. Dark brown color with a khaki head. Overall, on the sweeter side with buckets of malt but enough hops to balance. Nice amber for someone who isn’t a big hop/bitterness fan. hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 19, 2014
Rated on 12-28-2011 and on tap at Graydon’s Crossing in Grand Rapids, MI. This beer pours a small ivory head that is fully lasting, transparent amber body, no visible carbonated observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is toasted malt, citrus and earthy hops. The flavor mimics the aroma and also is lightly grainy. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This is a session beer, but lacks character and the flavor needs some help. Pours slightly hazy, reddish-amber with a fluffy tan head.
Slightly nutty, baked bread, caramel scent.
Taste is slightly metallic, caramel malt.
A bit leafy..herbal hops.
A bit too sweet, but not bad...
Just not memorable.

bottle. Coppery with small head. Light malt body. Light hops in the finish. Averageish for the style.
