On tap at Jolly Pumpkin, Ann Arbor. A clear, dark amber colored beer with a small dark beige head. The aroma is quite malty, bread and caramel, with some dried fruits and a grassy touch. Rather boring flavor too, bread, caramel and prunes, and some hoppy notes. Full to medium body, soft carbonation. Long malty finish. Stubby bottle poured a clear amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and a hint of fuittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, fruity and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
