Tasted from bottle. Pours a nice hazy amber with thick off white head. Aroma is strong pine, floral and a little citrus. Overall moderate sweetness with moderate to heavy bitterness. Lot of pine flavor with a little citrus. Some caramel sweetness and grassy notes. Average ipa overall.

Appearance: clear deep orangey gold, two fingers of whitish orangey yellow head shrinking rapidly, with lower than average lacing. Aroma: definite notes of pine and some catty dankness. Taste: hop forward, with pine resin, some citrus, but mainly it’s dank; not much malt. Finish: surprisingly short for an IPA, but slightly harsh as well. Notes: No indication of wheat whatsoever. Also, in their own commercial description they say ’palette’ instead of ’palate’. That immediately results in a .5 penalty. Bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida, on the family Disney trip.

Tap at Null. Clear light amber pour with a small ring of head and great lacing as usual. Very odd, sweet aroma of malt, wheat, pine, and light citrus. Tastes gross. Like sugary pine needles and skunk. Not sure what’s going on here. I’ve had a bottle in the past and remember thinking something went wrong with it so I didn’t rate. I think this is just how the beers is. Not good. bubblehouse (1531) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - NOV 25, 2014
Not bad but it does have a bit of a funky after taste. Jury is still out on the north peaks. All descent but nothing special so far. daclamdvm (3) - - NOV 6, 2014 does not count
I don't know all of the proper terms but I like IPA and I like wheats and the two together does it for me. Plus I like the short fat bottle.

Bottle from Kroger, Grandview. Copper orange pour with thin off-white head. Aroma of resiny citrus, pine, straw, grass. Tastes of sweet bready caramel, pine, citrus. Decent. StormCoat (123) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Poured a 12 oz bottle into a goblet. Pours a hazy honey color with a small off-white head. Light aroma like orange creamsicle. Flavors are initially sweet and citrusy, with a sweet malty flavor like burnt caramel, but everything is quickly overrun by a very long, strongly bitter finish. The bitterness is bordering on being too sharp and strong for me, and seems like it could be a bit more complex. But overall, this beer is drinkable and fairly nice. On draft. Never would have guessed that this was a wheat IPA. Mouthfeel is of cream soda, with a more bitter flavor. Some grapefruit hops, strong, strong wheaty malts. Not summery. Interesting, but not a go-to. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Cloudy copper with a nice white head. I was expecting some kind of sweet wheat beer but this tastes like an IPA. White lace bitter aroma. Some butterscotch in the finish. PorterPounder (7967) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2014
St. Augustine, Fl. - Broudy’s Fine Wine & Spirtis - 12 oz stubby bottle. Slightly sparkling medium orange pour, little to no head. Aroma has some ripening vegetable notes. Flavor is kind of muddled with some ripening vegetables, some date-like fruitiness, just a hint of citrus bitterness. Thick enough mouthfeel. Not really feeling IPA in this one.
