12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/17/2013. A bit of a gusher upon opening. Pours moderately hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, floral, grass, caramel, bread, light pine, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange zest, pineapple, pine, floral, grass, bread, caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of earthy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, pine, floral, grass, bread, caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops flavors; with a crisp moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very crisp and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a damn nice session IPA. Very nice robustness of bright hop flavors with a fair amount of malt; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. 12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice orange color with a sticky white head. Aroma of bright hops, lots of citrus, pineapple, and other tropical fruits. Flavor is light, hoppy, delicious, clean and refreshing. Very light bodied. This is great. Finishes clean and hoppy. A great summer IPA. shigadeyo (3761) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

8/08/2011: North Peak Wanderer Session India Pale Ale... Aroma: Leafy resin and medicinal hops; honey malt hiddin behind the hoppiness. Appearance: Murky deep gold color with a large, static, beige head. Flavor: Soapy! Bitter-sweet toffee malt and floral-resin hops; moderate bitterness and a lightly dry, earthy, and grassy (like hay) finish. Palate: Medium-bodied; slick and oily. Overall: Props for such a flavorful beer at a great ABV (just over 4%); drinkable, but the flavor doesn’t really excite me enough to be truly sessionable.
12 fl. oz. bottle (IBU 45; Alc 4.2% vy Volume; APR 1411) from The Andersons General Store in Toledo, Ohio. Rating #40 for this beer.
Orange clear pour from bottle. White head. Fruit and citrus nose. Slight hops and slight bitterness. Not bad for a session IPA. They seem hard to do right crackedmachine (481) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Cloudy copper with a thick, foamy head. The aroma is hoppy, but sweet with elements of tea. Flavor, likewise, has elements of tea and light bitterness. As a huge fan of session IPAs (e.g. Founders, Lagunitas, Stone/Kelsey McNair/Ballast Point) this lacks the upfront hop flavor, and is a bit of a disappointment. salvaticas (894) - - JUN 30, 2012
The head is insane, very frothy. A pretty decent taste but I think the "session IPA" moniker is a little misleading. Still, pretty good for the ABV Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Bottled. Poured medium golden with a tall, well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up soft pine and grapefruit over bready and caramel malt.. decent. The flavor found similar malts at the core, with citrus and hay-like bitterness around.. dry, moderately-bitter, tart finish. Light-bodied and grainy on the palate.. higher carbonation.. not a hop bomb by any means, but it flowed well. rondphoto (4488) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 13, 2012
Hazy light golden amber with a rocky head that drops to a covering, splotchy lace. This is not a strong ale at all, but the balance between caramel malt and hops is quite nice. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I would consider this to be quite sessionable. Easy going, easy to drink, low abv, a nice light brew.
