2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml bottle. Coppery brown with a short-lived white head. Aroma of fruit pastilles, lime jelly peppered with nutmeg, something out of the curry cupboard I canít place, pigpen yeast. Low condition with muddled yeast and spiciness; hints of rum-dunked cardboard, clove and radishes. Harmless. Probably.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle from Bellingerís, Grove, Oxfordshire. Poured a murky amber with a billowing off-white head; lots of yeast on the aroma together with some orange fruity; biscuity yeast flavours with a touch of spice; and a dry bitter finish. Rather ordinary.
