3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dirty orange with medium tan head. Aroma is fruity, apricot, caramel. Flavor is bready, bitter, light hop, citrus. Medium to light palate.
Draft at the brewpub. Nice looking clear light brown pour. A pleasant bitter, with a light malty sweetness the dominant flavor. A dash of sourness in here too - could be an off flavor. Mikeyaponte (40) - Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA - APR 8, 2015
My favorite beer here. The Valley's original brewpub. It's best to hang out on their deck on a nice day. The inside bar is nice if you can find a spot. The food is average at best.

Nice copper red color but not much of an aroma. Has an agreeable but fading taste. Location/deck is awesome but 90 degree temp may have tainted lasting power. Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Very thin and very average here. I dont know kinda tastes like malt water with very light bittering.. not great but nothing bad i guess. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JAN 26, 2013
On draft at the brewery, light and toasty, dry finish, rich caramel malts, like it

On tap at Northampton Brewery on 19 April 2010. Good bronzy colour. Slight haze. Thin white head. Another good hoppy number. Quite earthy and tangy this time. Some dry malt. Good interpretation.

On tap at the brewery. First one I had, after an afternoon out in the warm sun, so of course the first beer of the day usually goes down smooth. Good malty upfront with hoppiness on the backside, as advertised. A good session beer indeed. BroSpud (2188) - , Massachusetts, USA - APR 19, 2011
Part of a sampler at the brewery. This was tasted awhile back so I do not remember specifics. I found all samples tasted to be average, or slightly above average but nothing to rave about. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 15, 2010
