RATINGS: 15   MEAN: 3.17/5.0   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.05/5   ABV: -
The brewery’s original English-style India Pale ale has a pleasant balance of malt to soften the hops while still maintaining the bitter finish we love in the style.

So usually when I taste an ipa, i try to notice either pine or citrus, then i sip it. Forgot about pallisades hops, This is a weed ipa. This one is fairly well made with a ramping bitterness in the finish

Sampled at the pub, poured with no head, slightly resiny, hoppy with some bready malts but seems a little weak. Decent beer though.

My Bottom Line:
Grapefruity and floral hops swing within the clean, sociable body of this well-brewed but generic and understated IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slim veil of foam covers the hazy gold.
-Carbonation is prickly and works fine with the lean mouthfeel.
-The herbal, leafy hop bitterness is very polite.
-The flavor profile is the continuation of the aroma; feathery, quenching, and unmemorable.

On tap at the brewpub.

On-tap at the brewpub. Rather pale colour, though lace and creamy. Orange grapefruit flavours, a tad metallic.

Shared a sampler that had this in it. Standard yellow color. There was a large hop-filled flavor. I’m not crazy about hoppy stuff to begin with. Sorry.

tap at the brewpub. Deep hazy copper thick off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, grapefruity, pine and a touch of resinousness. Light crystal sweetness, bready flavour. Ligtly hoppy flavour. A bit of light appley fruit, grapefruit. Light resiny flavour. Decent IPA. Could use some more dry hops.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear copper color with a robust hoppy taste that isn’t overwhelming, yet still walks up and says "hi."

Golden with a thin white head. Smells of grapefruit and hops. Taste is nicely balanced but not as hoppy as I would have liked.

Draught: This beer is a hazy, dark golden color. There was no head on mine. There was still a slight bit of lacing down the glass. The aroma was mainly of grapefruity hops, with a hint of pine. The beer had a medium body and seemed well balanced. The hops were evident in the taste, but not overwhelming. (Maybe I’ve been drinking too many Imperial IPA’s lately!). A good beer.

Solid IPA with a very nice hazy color to it. Good punch at about ~7 ABV, but it’s extremely hidden. Only on tap.
