Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Sweet malts, a little nutty. Mild dried fruits. Semi dry finish. It’s another English Bitter - yippee - ok!
Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white film head. Dry pale malt nose, some biscuits and dry orange. Light sweet flavor with mellow, dry dough, some vague citrus, light yeast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More of the same to finish. Very sessionable, classic bitter. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Gravity @ Pigs Ear 2012. The pour’s medium gold with a tiny head. The nose is doughy marzipan, nut, some vanilla and notes of honeyed fruit. The taste is pale sweet malts, some dough, a bit of lemon. Light, sessionable profile. Decent.
