On tap at Churchkey. Clear gold pour, surprising color. Aroma of distinct blueberry, smells almost fake, blueberry jam, dried blueberries. Taste if fruity but not particularly sweet, no leafy herbal flavors. Palate is med bodied with med carb. I’d be interested in learning the process they used to incorporate so much blueberry aroma.

Draft. Lightly hazed orange/pink body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, blueberry. Taste is medium sweet, blueberry, light cereal. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy pink/purple. Sweet blueberry sorbet aroma. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel and fairly light body. Some tart blueberry flavour. Low bitterness. Pointless.

Sample at brewery. Hazy red, pink/white head. Aroma of fresh blueberry juice and bready malt. Taste has lots of fresh blueberry sweetness that is also slightly sour, very bready, husky grains, very dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Draft, Beveridge Place. Golden pour, white head on it. This didn’t initially smell too promising. Very sweet blueberry aroma with a bit of graininess, something you’d expect from a blueberry flavored kid’s cereal. The blueberry isn’t syrupy or cloying when the beer is actually sipped, though. This is a very pleasant, lightly sweet and fruity beer with a floral, herbal hoppiness that matches the fruit surprisingly well. A nicely put together fruit beer could easily be appreciated by non-beer fans.

gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 2, 2009
On tap at Collins Pub. Not bad for what it is. Aroma primarily of berries but with some floral, surprising to me. Flavor is mostly blueberry and sweet, a little weak.

carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 2, 2009
Draft at Collins Pub. Marginally darkish brown, amber pour. Fruity aroma with a slight florally hop bent to it. Taste is mostly sweet with just a light tart bitterness to it.

cprochak (590) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2009
Draft at BEVERIDGE PLACE BODACIOUS BEVERAGES BREWFEST ’09. Pours a hazy pink gold. Blueberry dominates aroma and the taste. Pretty sweet beer, but bitter hops provide a decent balance. Not a bad fruit beer.

riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2008
Hazy purple pour. Interesting. Light blueberry aroma with a touch of malty sweetness. Light blueberry flavors with a malty sweet backbone. Sweet fruity finish. Pleasant.
