Blonde with a thin, albeit resilient, head. So crisp, it’s crunchy, aroma of grapefruit, prickly pine, and citrus. Unrestrained grapefruit dominates the flavor with a fine Chinook bitterness that sates the palate without going overboard. This is a boldly flavored beer, that as far as I’m concerned, is an IPA all the way and not an APA as it is currently categorized. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2009

Aroma: Nice IPA hops aroma with a good malt backing.
Appearance: Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Big Amarillo hops flavors this was a killer IPA. Loved the flavors with the malt mix.
Palate: Dry IPA finish, with a good Mouthfeel.
Overall: A very nice IPA with huge hops this is a hard hops to tame.
On tap at Naked City. Nose of citrus hops, lime, orange, and some floral notes. Light sweet bready malt as well. Pours bright golden with a thin bubbly head. Flavors of juicy citrus hops, not bitter, but fruity and pleasant. Malt body is light and bready with a touch of sweetness. Super crisp finish. This would make a great session ale and a fantastic summer beer. I really enjoyed this and it was very unexpected. glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Biscuit malt dominates up front with some grassy hops following. Light bitterness and light all around. Just fine for a summer "fest" beer. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - JUN 14, 2008
5/24/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is light, sweet and floral, with excellent hop/malt note integration. Appearance is very clear gold with a medium-high maintained white head. Flavor is an even malt/hop balance with light malt sweetness and a light, but much more (vs. the aroma) earthy, grassy and spicy hop note. Mouthfeel is quite dry, medium bodied, with a spicy aftertaste that does not finish. Overall, quite good. It’s nice to see to see a Pale Ale that isn’t trying to be "IPA light", and content with a solid hot weather craft beer status.

Pint at brewery. This was a perfectly refreshing spring ale. I compared it to Sierra Nevada ESB. They are very similar. This beer was on the lighter side. Amarillo hops, nice gold color and nice overall balance. I preferred it to the to the amber and the pale. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 26, 2008
Sample tray. Amarillo hops. Lasting head on gold. Light hop scent. Light body. Strong hop flavour. Alcohol and hop finish, just a touch mediciny. Brings out the spice in the food.
