Cask, Caskfest. Clear gold pour with a large fluffy white head. Has an elegant floral and citrus Amarillo hop aroma. Has a light toasty malt body with lots of citrus, floral, and herbal hop notes. Ends with pine hop bitterness. Has a moderately light body, gentle carbonation, maybe a touch thin. A pretty nice pale that makes good use of one of my favorite hops. 5/24/08 On draught at the Brewpub. Aroma is light, sweet and floral, with excellent hop/malt note integration. Appearance is very clear gold with a medium-high maintained white head. Flavor is an even malt/hop balance with light malt sweetness and a light, but much more (vs. the aroma) earthy, grassy and spicy hop note. Mouthfeel is quite dry, medium bodied, with a spicy aftertaste that does not finish. Overall, quite good. It’s nice to see to see a Pale Ale that isn’t trying to be "IPA light", and content with a solid hot weather craft beer status. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 27, 2009
On tap at Naked City. Nose of citrus hops, lime, orange, and some floral notes. Light sweet bready malt as well. Pours bright golden with a thin bubbly head. Flavors of juicy citrus hops, not bitter, but fruity and pleasant. Malt body is light and bready with a touch of sweetness. Super crisp finish. This would make a great session ale and a fantastic summer beer. I really enjoyed this and it was very unexpected. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Sample at brewery. Clear orange, frothy white head. Aroma floral, citrus, caramel. Taste has more bitter pine but still lots of sweet tropical citrus and caramel. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Probably my favorite of the taster. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy medium-dark amber with a loose and sudsy grayish head. Mild fresh piney nose, smells really pleasant dimensional--nicely done. Creamy medium body with wooly carb. Toast, caramel, and pine on the mid palate. Not a groundbreaking APA, but clean and well done and very pleasantly drinkable.

Aroma: Nice IPA hops aroma with a good malt backing.
Appearance: Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Big Amarillo hops flavors this was a killer IPA. Loved the flavors with the malt mix.
Palate: Dry IPA finish, with a good Mouthfeel.
Overall: A very nice IPA with huge hops this is a hard hops to tame.
Blonde with a thin, albeit resilient, head. So crisp, it’s crunchy, aroma of grapefruit, prickly pine, and citrus. Unrestrained grapefruit dominates the flavor with a fine Chinook bitterness that sates the palate without going overboard. This is a boldly flavored beer, that as far as I’m concerned, is an IPA all the way and not an APA as it is currently categorized. olio (10688) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2012
