The first beer we brewed was New World IPA. In celebration of our 500th batch we've brewed a doubled up version using some of our favorite hops. Dry hopped with a combination of Mosaic, Amarillo, Simcoe and Chinook and fermented with a blend of three Yeast strains.

Can split at L42, thanks to Danny, 26/09/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is pine needle, orange pith, grpaefruit, toasted malts. Taste comprises light skunky bite, pine needle, mango, grapefruit, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with hop bitterness. Ok DIPA but didn't reall pull out of 3rd gear for me.

Towey1989 (3664) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2018
Can at Spout Cafe, Leek. Pours a hazy golden colour with a thick, frothy white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, slight peach, melon, pine, some biscuity malts and subtle grassy, floral hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, peach, some melon, a little pine, resin, slight biscuity malts and subtle grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate to high carbonation. A dry, slight biscuity, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A big, hoppy DDH IIPA. Big bitterness which surprised me because it says 45 IBU on the can. There’s better out there but northern monk are trusted for consistently good IPAs.

Level 42 Bottleshare. A can from Dan the man. Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Dry malt base. A little floral sweetness. Modest hop spice. Touch of pine. Dry bitterish citrus before a dry finish. It's fine but a bit dry and bitter.
