Can split at Leighton's 20K tasting, thanks to the host with the most, 01/03/17. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is dark fruit rinds, black forest gateaux rings through, chocolate, dark malts. Taste comprises sweet licks, cherry syrup, chocolate dusting, light charr, spice and more BFG. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Ok impy ... definitely gets the BFG message across but a touch too sweet to be a great for me.

Can from the dregs run. Cheers Stuu! Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Rich coffee and dark cherry aromas, cakey too, so ticks the boxes name-wise. Full bodied, oily texture. Thick and rich. Good job.

Quite brown, mostly opaque and no head. Nose is very creamy, decent cakey compote sweetness. Initial taste is tender sweetness and a nice boozy spice bite on the linger. Finishes a decent rubbery fruitiness.
