Reddish-brown with foamy, quick-diminishing head. Sweet malt cheap lager aroma. Taste is sweet honey, very low hops, hard water and maybe a slight hint of almond. Very thin. Good carbonation but seems to get flat fast. Taste gets cloying and funky after it warms a bit. This is ok if you drink it ice cold and don’t milk it. Highly drinkable but really just a cheap lager with some sweet honey added. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 6, 2011
Can. Poured into a glass a darker, clear root beer like brown with a slight collared light tan head. Better head retention than the Special Light. Not too much going on in the nose, slight sweet bread and a little metallic. Medium mouthfeel with a slight creaminess. Almost, almost tastes like a cream ale to me. Slight roast and vanilla. Not a fan of the ending. It’s not comletely terrible but at the same time it isn’t good either. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - NOV 14, 2011
12oz can. Rating #3. Nice looking dark brown pour with a small tan head and some moderate lacing. Moderate malty sweetness upfront with the honey coming through. Sweet flavor, too much actually. Thin and too sweet, not enjoyable really. (1996) shrubber85 (11582) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Can. Metallic toffee malt aroma. Amber with moderate light tan head. Extremely light malt flavor with a hint of cocoa in the finish - otherwise like mineral water. At least there’s nothing offensive here.
