typical Northumberland beer, and the final one sampled that tipped the balance and convinced me to add the brewery to the boycott list. yet another brown, malty beer, over sweet. draught in Fat Cat, Sheffield, who thankfully have also seen sense and stopped buying from this substandard brewery. Another brewery that needs to go back to brewing school and learn about hops

Cask conditioned at The Derbyshire Cat, Sheffield. Gold amber with white head. Light biscuity, malty bitter with a sweetness in the body, perhaps added sugar, it was a little raw. Otherwise pretty average, unlike the player, so not a great tribute to him.
