Watery and refreshing initially but a strong detergent taste is a bit of a put off. Might improve after a while.
Cask conditioned handpump Locomotive Wellingborough 02/ A cloudy copper coloured beer with a whitish head. Typical averageness from this brewery. A bit smokey. Mostly malty. A bit of cleaning product. Not much to write home about. imdownthepub (15132) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2010
Cask conditioned at The New Entertainer, Gorleston on Sea, Norfolk. Brown with thin head. Sweet malty beer, thin on the palate, little depth, not much sign of hop. Disappointing. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2008
Cask in the market porter. Aroma is well balanced, grassy leafy hops, biscuity caramel malts. Taste is similar, nice and tasty stuff. gary07734 (500) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2008 Nice copper coloured pint with a small creamy head. Good hop flavour, fruity and sweet with plenty of flavour. One of the best bitters I’ve had in a while. Rather good.
