This beer is crazy! More than four times the amount of hops than our hoppy bitch, Crazy Bitch explodes with hop flavor and aroma. The German-style malt stays very much in the background, giving just a hint of sweet flavor and body, and letting the hops take center stage. Youll find aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, bright pine and various herbs from the irresponsibly copious doses of Yakima hops, and youll find even more complexity and depth when you take your first sip. Our Double IPA is unique in that it has a restrained alcohol level, pale color, and a smooth, approachable bitterness, letting you enjoy more delicious Crazy Bitch without palette fatigue. This brew is made for all you crazy Hop-Heads

Met a guy from the brewery at norms so gave it a try. From bomber pours slightly cloudy golden with full receding head. Smell is hoppy and portends what is to come. Drinks nice but finishes way too hoppy, seems dry hopped and needs more balance.

Bomber. Poured in a darker shade of gold, clear, nice off white head and minimal spotty lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus fruit, and some floral notes. Taste is certainly bitter, hoppy, lots of citrus fruit; there is also some balance from malts, but overall bitter and hoppy (and thats not a bad thing). Nice, enjoyable and quite drinkable.

22 bomber to tulip. Pours clouded orange, white froth sticky head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and light caramel. Taste of the same with some fig, raisin and a dry bitter finish with bitters changing over to trop and big cacao. Weird. But so interesting and complex.

Bottle. Ample pour with a big top over the light orange-gold beer. This has a subtle spicy tilt, and finishes with a mushy malt-hop marriage. Tad thin on the palate, but a decent drinker. (#6015, 8/4/2015)

22oz bomber pours with a deep gold body that has a copper hue and a slightly hazy body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up resiny smelling pine hops and then just slivers of sweet malts and a floral kind of soap sensation. The taste harkens back to an earlier time with its biting resiny pine hop bitterness and adequate sweet malty base. Well off in the background is a blend of earthy tea and vague sort of soft hop fruitiness. Fun beer for sure where the resiny hops are big but theres plenty of depth and body going on here allowing for a semblance of balance.

Slightly hazy copper with a thin, very sticky white head. Lovely aroma of sticky sweet grapefruit and orange rind, a bit of floral resin and a caramelly wafer undertone. Big robust flavor with sweet citrus zest and bitter peel, a touch of pith, sweet caramelly undertones, nice quaffable bitterness, and a strong earthy leafy/herbal resin towards the dryish finish. Aftertastes of resin and bitter grapefruit peel.
