This bold amber is hoppy and unfiltered in the classic Pacific Northwest Style. We combine premium 2-Row, Aromatic, Melanoidin, and Crystal malts to form a pleasant malty base, then add enough Crystal and Mt. Hood hops to create a balanced beer with a citrusy hop finish. This beer is easy to enjoy by itself, and pairs well with most foods.

deep rich ruby color with pronounced hops, finishes with better hop notes than most ambers. well balanced and a good session ale

Too hoppy and bitter for the style, but it is a good drinkable beer. It has a hoppy aroma and flavor. Light gold in color.

Draft - Caramel and toasty malts. Clear copper with a beige head. Caramel, light toasted malts, burnt notes and a dry finish. There is something missing in this, the malts are much too weak.

mcberko (19869) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
On tap at Northwest, pours a dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malts and dry fruitokess. Flavour is dry, with fruity bready malts. Bland but decent. Okay.

Hazy dull amber. Crackery, typical slightly caramelly amber with moderate bitterness. Utterly typical.

Draft pour at 192. Pours a dark red with an incredible fresh hops aroma. Drew me into this one right away. Really nice hop forward flavor with a nice malt balance. Really good beer here. Bitter finish. Very impressed.

Not bad overall. Its saving grace is a nice toasty malt note. Otherwise, however, this is an above-average amber.

bottle, pours a deep amber gold with a big tan head. nose is heavey with malt, and yeast. very bready taste, muddy finish.

BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice beer with tons of malt forward flavors. I was hoping for more balance with the hops. Not bad needs more Hops.

oc4111 (122) - USA - JUN 8, 2013
Pours a slightly cloudy amber color. Faint aroma of malt with just the ever slightest hint of hops. Taste sits right in the middle between hops and malt. Decent beer.

Ratman197 (15624) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, carmel, light fruittiness and a hint of earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, carmel and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering carmel finish.
