Hazy light tan, and light fruity taste, and a touch of toasty malts, ok but really the el Dorado character isn’t as bright as I’d like.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, grass, citrus, pine, crisp finish, good.

j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 6, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Juicy oranges on the nose, citrus and juice. Medium bodied, big and juicy, full of orange and pomelo. Loads of sweet tangerine and clementine juice, soft malt, delicate and juicy. Finishes with more juice, very light hop bitterness.

deyholla (12590) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2015
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has grass and earthy pine with a bit of a syrupy grain note. Flavor has bread and grass with a touch of pine underlying.

fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2014
Draught at the brewery
Blond color. Light citrusy aroma, light asparagus. Dry mouthfeel, a bit weak, but clean; not much malt flavor, but fairly bitter.

mcberko (19880) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 27, 2014
On tap at Northwest Peaks, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and floral hops. Flavour brings out biscuity malt, dry floral hops, and some astringency on the finish. Decent pale ale.

OldMrCrow (2446) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2014
Tap at Fiddlers under the name "Spring Pale". I assume this is the right beer; if not, I’ll adjust accordingly. Light maize pour, white head, surprising amounts of lacing. Grassy hop aroma, malts backgrounded, a bit of cracker, hints of grapefruit, peppery notes mid-late. After reading after4ever’s rating, I totally get the corn nuts. Super-drinkable; this one is gone in no time flat. Decent first taste of NW Peaks.

BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Copper body topped by a ring of lather. Easy herbal hoppy nose, that is distinctly "green" and grassy. The flavor also evinces this green and grassy flavor with some floral evergreen notes as well.

AdamChandler (5208) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Burnt oak appearance Not a lot of aroma. Very interesting. And this is hard to explain but it tastes like watered down jack Daniels with some clementines and floral notes

LilBeerDoctor (4236) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2013
On tap. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, hop oils, grassy hops, earthy hops, crackery malt, and malt. Flavor of grassy, garlicky hops, caramel malt, tropical fruits, citrus. Super hoppy, lots of hoppy flavors interacting, very nice! Definitely an IPA... 8/4/8/4/16 (4.0/5)
