RexTalionis (3781) - FINLAND - MAY 18, 2013
Bottled. Pours dark brown in color with a small and tan head. A bit of earthy and cellar notes in aroma, some sweetness as well. A bit of roasted malts, sweet sugar and green beans in taste. Feels like a mess. Gets a bit better towards the end.

Bottle from Ruprecht_007, thanks! Dark brown color. Caramel, roast and laurel in the aroma. Almost full bodied. Roasty, ashy, but also malty sweet flavor. Hints of chichory and butter. Very tasty.

hetyu (115) - HUNGARY - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle - Clearbrown color. Medium, frothy head. Herbal and grassy aroma with distinct sour yeasty notes and light sulphurous, resinous feel. Crisp grassy hops initially, Moderate sweet molasses, caramel and liquorice mouthfeel leading to crisp herbal, slightly roasted bitternes. Light to medium bodied.

MartinT (10036) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
My Bottom Line:
This Tmavy delights with its cherry-like fruity angles, its intelligently roasted malts and its earthy hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A tower of foam protects the dark brown with mahogany highlights.
-Mouthfeel is frothy and lean.
-Drinkability is high for its strength.
-Light chocolate is also contributed by the roasted malts.

On tap at U Slovanské Lipy, Praha.

On tap at U Slovanske Lipy (02/03/13). Beautiful dark red pour, tenacious just off white foam. Aroma of cherries, vanilla, light chocolate, litterally black forest cake. Taste is malty, sweet, cake like, cherry, vanilla. Super silky palate, a tad sweet but surprisingly not that much given the flavor. Good, although maybe too sweet.

50 cl bottle.
Originally rated on 20090410.
Pours dark copper color with a small head. Aroma of sugar, dark malts, fruits and caramel. Flavor of caramel malts, toffee, brown sugar and some ripe fruits. Too sweet.

Quite regular dunkel. Nothing special, still good. Nice colour and a bit creamy mouthfeel.
