gunnar (9778) - Sandnes, NORWAY - NOV 17, 2010
Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård Pours dark amber, almost like a Coke, with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma is sweet dark malts and caramel. Taste is the same, but with a good hoppy aftertaste mixed with the sugary and caramelly finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Good dunkel.

Nagyon keserű akar lenni. De ez az íz alig tud áttörni a sör tömény vizességén.

500ml bottle. Color: Dark brown with reddish tones. Head: Light brown semithick head, foamy. Aroma: a hint of citrus hoppy, metallic tones, hint of roasted malts. Palate: semithick at the beginning, bubbly and light at the end. Flavor: Some roasted malts, not much. A little bit of dark chocolate. Sour end. Pretty watery. Decent, drinkable beer, nothing spectacular.

rmasa (324) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 10, 2010
Reddish dark brown color, large beige head; aroma is light roasted malty, caramelish and toffeish sweet with hints of chocolate and fruitiness - everything buried under surprising muddy earthiness giving the nose a touch of personality, but not the same amount of attractiviness; flavor is toffeish sweet, slightly honeyish and roasty with light nutty and fruity notes; burnt caramelish finish with light bitterness; body is only light-medium with low carbonation. Quite strong for a dunkel and it showed only in unpleasant ways. Also, even though it has quite a lot going on, it’s so all over the place you can’t honestly call this well made.
