50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and malty. Sweet malty, light cornish syrupy. Roasted malt and slight dark toffee caramelish. Slight acidic to vague citric into a malt driven finish. Rather fruity into the far finish. Ungstrup (37284) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2010
Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing light tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of metal, leading to a nicely bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a clear warm orangey brown with a creamy beige head leaving some laces. Roasted malt in the nose - and a little smoke?? Solid body with a massive malt base. Roasted malts, sweet caramel and a whiff of glue. Again a whiff of smoke. Quite some bitterness in the finish. Not really a Dunkel at 6.3% right? And the smoky accents confuse. 230310 thewolf (12534) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2010

Deep chestnut brown with some slight red edges. Small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is mild and malty. Some liqourice, chocolate, caramel and very light roasted notes. Highish carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is light metallic at first, caramel sweetness, roasted bitterness and some slight berry-like tartness. A slight chocolate note at the end. Fine, but the metallic notes are a bit too prominent.
Bottle from Pivovarsky Klub, Praha. One finger lightly tanned head. Body is very dark brown, with ruby highlights. Ripe yellow apples and cream-caramel/toffee on the nose. Also a pleaseant scent of honey. Honey-ish malt flavor, paired with a distinct, almost sharp hop bitterness. Medium body. Grassy bitterness and light caramelly malts in the finish. Pretty good, and pretty hoppy for the style.
