Gentle roasty aroma. Rich red. Lovely husky roasted taste. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. A light easy drinker. Good for 3.5%.
On tap @ the brewery, a dark beer with good head. Nose is on roasted malt, aroma on the same, dry body, medium hopy, well balanced. Borup (14494) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2017
From tap at brewpub. A dark brown coloured beer withan off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, bread and a roasted finish. Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2004
A caramelly red/brown brew with more interest than the pale. Coffee, liquorice and toffee mingle in the taste with maltiness and a strange floury wheat texture. Sweetish, dark malt accented finish, pretty good but not in the same league as Dům. (Draught in Novomestsky Pivovar, Praha)
