Real Blond Ale
A combination of strength and subtlety. A pure malt beer with a wide palette of flavours to drink as an aperitif or to be served with country-style cooking (mussels and chips, herrings, poultry, stews etc.).

Onbekend bier voor me. Typisch Belgische stijl blond, zacht zoet, mild in alcohol en afdronk. Minder zoet dan een leffe blond, met een aangenaam citrus toontje. Goed zonerbiertje.

Nothing wrong with this Belgian style beer. Champagne like effervescence, sweet malt, subtle hop, alcohol bite. In fact I thought it was even higher ABV. Defo try another.

Fin blonde, dog ikke med typisk belgisk gærsmag, men heller ikke så tung i det, til trods for en god styrke i alkoholen.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy herbaceous character, light sulfur, light mineral notes, grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light coriander, curacao, grassy hops, light mineral notes, light oxidation, OK. Bottle from Le Bon Marché, Paris, February 2015. BB 28/01/17.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit and fart, with estery and malty notes and touches of hops. Sweetish, flowery and perfumed flavour, with fruity and hoppy notes and touches of malt and yeast. Bitterish and slightly acidic aftertaste. High carbonation but rather watery. Nothing special.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2015 On tap in a restaurant in Wissant, FR. Color: golden blond beer with small carbonation and heavy white foam. Smell: caramel and sweet malt domination. Good fruity notes. Finish cereal and caramel. Taste: good balance with good sweet malt and bitterness balance. The foam is very nice. Good sensation on palate. Very nice attenuation. Good caramel and bitterness finish. Very nice and easy drinkable. Aftertaste: nice sweet bitterness and fruity finish. Very good beer! Not the best but I enjoyed it!

Cloudy yellow with fine white head. Medium carbonation. Lemony yeasty aroma, slight ting on tongue and in mouth - stays on tongue.
