Bootle from a campsite shop in Calais. Pours golden with a big white head. Quite a mild flavour - citrus, caramel and just a little spice. Enjoyable.

Bottle at home in London - shared with Lyoli. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Zesty lemon aroma with notes of doughy malts, some Belgian yeast, light grass and barnyard. Medium sweet flavor with ripe lemon, sugary dough, white bread, mild bitter straw, citrus peel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet with further doughy pale malts, white bread, some wheat flakes, lemon, Belgian yeast, mild citric tang. Pretty tasty overall, if a bit simplistic.

Bouteille 75cl.

75cl shared bottle with Gergo as a gift, many thanks! Clear sparkling yellow blond body, large fizzy off-white mostly lasting good lacing head. Aroma cereal, floral, herbs, banana, honey. Taste light to medium sweetness, medium bitterness, slightly salty. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, light sweet medium bitter finish wight average duration. Fine, more aromatic than a usual bold.

75 CL bottle. Cork pops with some force, beer decanted into a jug. Extremely lively but settling quickly. Some aroma, mainly of sweet grain, little hop aroma. Appearance - biere blonde. Sweet taste with only some bitterness to balance. The finish is dryer, but the sweetness is cloying. Overall a well-crafted blonde but not very exciting.

quite dense ivorywhite head that disappears slowly with foam head and structured lacing. blond clear colour. aroma a bit skunky, malt, anise. taste like aroma with a slight (wheat) sourness. medium body and carbonation. bottle 33 cl / bbf sep-2015

Bottle from La Grand Epicerie. Nicely balanced. Aromas of grain, bread, and vanilla. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and long length. Palate is creamy, and medium bodied. Orange, with a frothy head.

Bozo_skeleton (1165) - Grenoble, FRANCE - APR 30, 2013

PeatyPete (1108) - NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2013
Golden yellow with nice foam. Good carbonation. Grass, flowers, hops. Cremig but short aftertaste.
