Large bottle picked up from small village 8-10 miles along the coast from Calais. Nice deep golden colour with large ice cream head, nice slightly tart bite to it but very good intensity of flavour. A very decent beer brought a couple back with me.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2007
Warm golden with a nice head and a slightly malty, fruity and spicy aroma. The flavour has light sweetness, notes of fruit, malt, caramel, spice, yeast and citrus. Uncomplicated - but also uninteresting! 2445

JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - APR 1, 2008
Huge, very dense & fine just yellowish head, persistent and leaving fine lace over golden beer with orange highlights. Fruity, hot malts, gassy, garden weeds & herbs. Toasted malts, bit of caramel, tad sweet with a fine bitterish finish, and a CO² enhanced sourishness. Flowery, more garden herbs. Delicate but sure balance. Titillating, not fizzy; light to medium body. Excellent, light drinking ale - pity about the too discreet nose. Worth looking for!
