Capa (3395) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2007
Pours a nice orange/copper with a flufy white head. Aroma is sweet and spicey. Wheat, citrus, and refreshing fruit. Mouth is nice and creamy, but with the right amount of carbonation. Flavor is citrus, apple peel, yeast, and earthy. Finish is very dry. A very enjoyable brew.

Bottled. Very hazy, almost cloudy pale golden colour with a rich white head. Lemony and yeasty aroma with notes of grass soap, and cellar. Dryish flavour of yeast and lemon-rind with touches of wet grass. Grassy hops, yeast and minerals in the finish. Refreshing and complex.

Bottle. Hazy, golden beer with a fluffy, lasting white head. Very sweet and fruity aroma. Notes of yeast and herbs. Taste is sweet and light bitter with notes of fruits, lemon and orange zest, yeast, spices. Medium body with a lively carbonation. Short, slightly astringent and off-dry, light funky finish.

(Bottle) Pours golden. Yeasty aroma with bread dough and damp basement notes. Herbal/spicy notes of coriander, clove and some grass are also present. Light citrusy with lemon and oranges up front. Some fruity undertones with hints of banana. Yeasty, doughy flavour with a subtle fruitiness. Rather buttery mouthfeel with a lot of bubbly carbonation. Light grassy and herbal/coriander in the flavour as well. Round, medium full body. An ok beer without any surprise party’s.

Taste light to medium sweetness, medium bitterness, slightly salty. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, light sweet medium bitter finish wight average duration. Fine, more aromatic than a usual bold.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2015 On tap in a restaurant in Wissant, FR. Color: golden blond beer with small carbonation and heavy white foam. Smell: caramel and sweet malt domination. Good fruity notes. Finish cereal and caramel. Taste: good balance with good sweet malt and bitterness balance. The foam is very nice. Good sensation on palate. Very nice attenuation. Good caramel and bitterness finish. Very nice and easy drinkable. Aftertaste: nice sweet bitterness and fruity finish. Very good beer! Not the best but I enjoyed it!

Had to really fight to get much head out of this one, but once it was going it was okay, in fact lasting quite awhile, must be lots of yeast in the recipe. Soft aroma of hops and malts, very faint. Taste is a little malt, a little hop, some alcohol sting. Not too interesting or complex, but very drinkable.
