Real Blond Ale
A combination of strength and subtlety. A pure malt beer with a wide palette of flavours to drink as an aperitif or to be served with country-style cooking (mussels and chips, herrings, poultry, stews etc.).

Bottled (BBE 2008)
Hazy orange-yellow color, decent cloudy white head, some lace. Citrus, grass, paper and sweet fruits in the nose. Fruity, refreshing blonde. Apricot, fruit sugar. Good malty backbone. Suprisingly tasty French brew, very Belgian.

(75 cl bottle at Ambleteuse, France) Very nice blonde beer. Would drink again if I had the opportunity.

Bière agréable, légérement fruitée, juste ce qu’il faut. Basique, convient à tous les gouts, mais à un prix relativement élevé (autour de 4€ la 75cl).

Bottled. Very hazy, almost cloudy pale golden colour with a rich white head. Lemony and yeasty aroma with notes of grass soap, and cellar. Dryish flavour of yeast and lemon-rind with touches of wet grass. Grassy hops, yeast and minerals in the finish. Refreshing and complex.

Bottle from Le Bon Marche. Pours hazy orange gold with a frothy five finger head. Smells like peach and hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. There’s clove and light stone fruit. Makes me think a bit of pickled peach. Pretty dry with light, light funky notes. Ok, it’s Belgian! Really good.

17/04/2011 75cl bottle @ Katie & Kevins place - BB: 31/12/11 (2011-152) Thanks to Katie & Kevin for the bottle!

Little cloudy yellow to orange beer, white creamy head, adhesive but unstable. Aroma: very fruity, tangerines and oranges, honey and citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: bit malty, citrus flavours, some gentle hops, honey, grapefruit. Aftertaste: mostly citrus, a little bitter, hint of pineapple.

Good French beer. Blond with nice foam. Refreshing, notes of fruit, a little bitterness

75cl shared bottle with Gergo as a gift, many thanks! Clear sparkling yellow blond body, large fizzy off-white mostly lasting good lacing head. Aroma cereal, floral, herbs, banana, honey. Taste light to medium sweetness, medium bitterness, slightly salty. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, light sweet medium bitter finish wight average duration. Fine, more aromatic than a usual bold.

Nothing wrong with this Belgian style beer. Champagne like effervescence, sweet malt, subtle hop, alcohol bite. In fact I thought it was even higher ABV. Defo try another.

Onbekend bier voor me. Typisch Belgische stijl blond, zacht zoet, mild in alcohol en afdronk. Minder zoet dan een leffe blond, met een aangenaam citrus toontje. Goed zonerbiertje.
