Brewed at De Proefbrouwerij until 2005
A stout made with roasted barley, tonic and invigorating, with a well-conditioned, slight but distinctive bitterness. Noire de Stack is perfect for beer-tasting and goes very well with smoked fish, oysters and delicatessen meats.

Pours a beige to brown head with malt and light candy aromas. Black colored body. Sweet in mouth yet with over roasted malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared. Really nice label with a couple of ducks in mid flight on the edge of a foreboding looking pond with a grim dark cloudy sky, industrial buildings in the background and yet nice refreshing natural reeds in the foreground. Really solid label design overall. Maakun will say its shit, but its not, its really good. The beer itself is black with a medium tan head. Aroma of roast, light dark chocolate, slight yeast, overripe dark fruits, malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Maakun (4644) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2016
Bottle shared thanks to kermso. Stupid label with geese or ducks. Kermis will love it of course. Almost black with big beige head. Old coffee, hazelnuts, light mineral, roasted malts, soft licorice, some toffee and dark chocolate. Light sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit watery feel.

Smager af ristet malt, kaffe og lidt af noget der minder om vanille. Savner lidt eftersmag.

33 cl bottle @ home, bought a a Lille market over a year ago. Black color. Thick, dense beige head with long retention. Aromas: red fruit, a bit roast. Retronasal theres more roast, but still fruit as well, light sweet. Flavor is light sweet, light roast, coffee-ish, light fruity. Light to medium bodied. Short finish, with some roast. Decent, but more a Schwarz than a stout.
