Foam is nice, almost creamy, and very durable. It smells spicy, proved enough most of cinnamon, but also a little feel for whipping cream and fresh berries is to trace in the aroma. Mouth feeling is bold as cream and the flavor varies over both forest fruits, vanilla, anise, slightly smoky flavor nuance and hard roasted malt with light notes of dark caramel. It has very oily texture and is therefore inherently long in the mouth as a thin membrane that continuously releases flavor notes in small portions. Towards the end you will find really also a little mint and cloves, so it surprises all the time with many shades. Hop bitterness is moderate and carbonation is gentle and pleasant. That is precisely why it can constantly contribute to the bold, rich taste like a stout much like must have if I have to enjoy it. Light licorice tones rounds him of, and as a whole it is an incredibly exciting and delicate stout. All the time you will find new aspects in it, and although not overwhelming extreme in either strength or taste, so find a good and exciting stout if you just let it get time to exercise. It should not be enjoyed ice cold. Christos (5938) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2015
(Nørrebro Bryghus X) Bottle 400 ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 6.5%, thanks to humlelala for this.
Black coloured body, almost two full fingers of beige head, thick and creamy, with very good retention, leaving thick lacing behind.
Aroma has fresh brewed coffee, hot chocolate, sweet vanilla.
Great taste, plenty of chocolate, mocha, light roasted malts, some coffee again, subtle vanilla that becomes stronger on the finish. Sweet all in all but pleasantly so.
Thick and fullll body, with a creamy and smooth texture, soft carbonation.
Really good. Finn (8556) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2015
Flaske 400ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og Skinnyviking på Nerstranda 14 Jan 15. Ekstremt mørk amber. Lavt lysebrunt skum. God krydderaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søtt krydder. Skikkelig god julefølelse. Skinnyviking (9823) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2015
Bottle shared with Rune and Finn. High fluffy lasting light brown head. Very dark brown body. Powerful roasted malt coffee vanilla aroma. Relatively sweet roasted malt caramel coffee prune raisin flavor with a hint of smoke. Little hops bitterness, low carbonation, long sweet finish. Funny that I should travel all the way to Tromso to taste this beer. Thanks to Rune for sharing. Rune (14072) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 18, 2015
Celebration brew, 400ml bottle bought at an Illum store in Copenhagen. Stable tan-coloured head to an almost jet black body. Fragile lacing. Strong aroma of dark spices, mild lactose, and caramel. Jam-like flavour profile made up by brown and black malts mingled with dark spices, herbs, and a little vanilla sweetness. Balanced by slightly bitter jammy fruits towards the ending. Well bodied. Next to great (shared with Skinnyviking and Finn, Tromsø 14.01.2015).

Flaske, 40 cl. Stoflig sortbrun farve, flot, og et endnu flottere beige skum. Det første jeg tænker er kanel. Så mælk. Og røde bær. Skosværte. Nelikker. Smagen er let sødlig, men slutter ristet bitter. God. Christian (14071) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2013
Black with a lasting tan head. Malty aroma with licorice notes, and a herbal touch. Sweetish malty flavour with spicy and herbal notes, licorice and sage and a rather bitter finish brnandersen (4395) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2013
40 cl. bottle from Irma Østerport. Pitch black with a dense, tan head. Roasted aroma with light smoke, vanilla, herbs/spices - cinnamon and dark, dried fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel and chocolate malts. Taste is light bitter and roasted. Medium body with a pleasant, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes bitter and roasted with coffee and a herbal hops note. Very enjoyable porter, really well balanced. Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus and on bottle a month later. Pours a deep red - almost black, with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and vanilla. Lovely. Taste is like the aroma but with malt, some citric fruit notes and a bit of smoke. Sweet. Medium body. Very good. Better than I remembered.
