On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, pale straw-yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened pils malts with a touch of bready grain and a light grass. Flavor is solid. Lightly sweetened and somewhat bready pils malts with a light graininess. A good amount of grass towards the end with a light citrus before this finishes clean, dry, and lightly bitter with a touch of pils malt sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a light body and a crisp, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid Kölsch. Nothing crazy special, but clean, crisp, and easy drinking. Nice beer. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 19, 2012
Tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow body with a frothy and thick white head. The nose was doughy with a little bit of bell pepper. The taste is like husky grains and raw potatoes. There is also a little bit of celery in the finish. OK for the style.
