Bottle 500ml.

Clear dark to medium red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, toffee. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

The aroma is slightly sweet and malty. The color is red-brown and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is sweet malty with hints of roasted bread. A nice dunkel.

Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some sugary sweetness as well as some mild nuttyness and toffeeishness. Flavour is the same in a very nice combination. Lacks signs of hops, but still a really good dunkel to me.

Bottled. Nut brown. Apple aroma, Sweet, thin, mellow and lightly roasty. Cellar and mashed apples dominate.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear mahogany-coloured with a small, weak light-brown head. Slightly burned aromas from the dark, roasted malt and a dry, lasting hoppiness. Some underlying sweetness - partly from the added saccharin. 191004

Dark amber color. Very poor aroma and flavor, just burnt sugar taste, with a similar (caramel) final.
