Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2003
The aroma is fruity and bitter. The color is a hazy orange and it has a fine dense but disappearing head. The flavor is rather bitter for an ale, with only a slight bitterness and notes of oranges. The end is hoppy and flowery with oily notes - a dryness lingers. An OK ale - though a little too bitter for a standard ale.

(On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a nice, dense, off-white head. Fresh and floral nose. Light to medium-bodied, lightly malty and then again these fresh floral and citrusy notes. Ends on a rather bitter note. A light and very refreshing session ale. 240806

Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Thanks to Per for this one. Hazy gold colour. Plenty of spicy hops and fruity malt in evidence and nicely balanced. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish. Not and ostentatious beer but quite impressive.
