lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 14, 2013
Draught @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere.
Pours a copper amber colour with a white creamy head. Aroma of caramel, resin and strong floral notes. Flavour of sweet caramel, gooseberries, grassy hops and some mild sour notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a harsh, malty and bitter finish. Berries as well. Decent but would be a lot better without the berries.

3.2
mjs (7768) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2013
(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20130217) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was large and white. Aroma had molasses, fruitiness, white bread and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Overall impression was musty. Nice strong maltiness.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Pours clear, red copper, medium head. Caramel and hints of fruit aroma. Quite a bit of bitterness neutralizing the caramel. Hints of metal. Not quite up to expectations.

_angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 22, 2012
Draught @ The Rover. Pours clear dark amber with a frothy brownish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick sticky lacing and trace on the glass. smell is sweet and malty with bread, caramel, orange peal, pine, resinous wood, pineapple, butterscotch and hints of rotten fruit. Taste is sweet, bitter and amlty with caramel, lemony soap, pine, slightly dry grass, rotten apples, orange peal, pineapple, grapefruit rinds, dark bread and hints of cereal, sheet metal and buttery wood. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter and malty with bread, red apples, sheet metal, pine, orange peal, pineapple, caramel and butterscotch. Terrible... Phenolic buttery mess!
