blafa (511) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 6, 2012
Bottle from systembolaget, at home. Helsingborg, April 2012.
Dark orange, almost read. Off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with some resinous and grapefruit-like hop characteristics. Quite sweet as well. Something slightly buttery, fusty in the aroma unfortunately. The taste is nice though and it reminds me somewhat of an east coast IPA. Very malty but with a rich taste and some great bitterness. Very balanced!

Citrus.

25cl bottle. Clear amber with a thin white head. There’s some grapefruit in the aroma together with a little caramel? The taste is mostly grapefruit bitterness balanced with some malt sweetness, but it’s the bitterness that stick with you in the long run. Nice full mouth-feel, especially considering the relatively low ABV. Dragets used to be a little too sweet so this is a definite improvement over previous years.

Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 17, 2012
Draught @ Akkurat, sweden. Amber to light brown coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small white head. Fruity floral infused (almost like rose watter hinted) and clear hoppy hints. Medium to full palate. FInish is sweet fruity with a light dry bitter ending. Not bad.

3.3
esox (1226) - Oulu, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2012
Draught @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Amber, slightly cloudy beer with creamy head. Resiny and floral hop notes, some citrusfruit, a touch of biscuits, caramel and yeast. Dry, slightly caramelly maltiness. Herbal bitterness. A bit thin on every aspect for a DIPA.

2.4
TEJA (3262) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 13, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. No head and a light brown color. Huge grape aroma that really over powers the sences. The grape is also dominating the taste and is one sided. Big bitterness.

_angst_ (5008) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 8, 2012
Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours clear amber/copper red with a creamy head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is rather subtle, slightly sweet and malty with pine and orange zest. Taste is sweet, slightly stale, bitter and malty with lemon peal, grass and pine. Finish is pleasant, slightly dry and slightly bitter with grapefruit.
