andrepintado (3609) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - MAR 10, 2013
bottle thanks to omhper. Dark amber, copper color with thin to medium white head. Hop and light fruit aroma. Low carbonation. High bitterness.

Copper color. Hoppy, alcoholic aroma. Hoppy, alcoholic taste with a large bitterness. Good, but not the ultimate DIPA.

WilleLW (282) - Lund, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2013
Reddish amber colour with a light creamy head. Distint aroma of hops with pine and grass characters. Slight smell of caramel in the background and some flowers. Taste of sweet caramell, pine, some wood and hops. Also some grass, orange and citrus. Fruity and a little flowery. Dry afterbitterness

Whats not to like?

Tjoxen (173) - SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2013
Pours clear copper with white head. Hoppy aroma of ripe apples and plums. Taste is bitter with lots of dark fruit and apples. Some metallic aftertaste. A bit abruot for being an DIP.

Garlic_of_Doom (653) - SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark amber with a big frothy head. Aroma is mostly piny hoppy with some faint malt. Taste is malty with some piny, resinous and bitter orange hops and woody notes and a too big punch of alcohol. Dry, bitter after taste. This was a lot better last year. The hops are there, sure, but not at all as much as one would expect from a Dipa.

Juicy but not very fruity aroma. Nice orange golden color. Rich body with a bitter mature taste of fruit.

Aroma: Smelling, as expected, citric, grape-fruit and bitter orange, floral, pine needles and grass.
Appearance: The beer is clear ruby amber, with a firm and slow beige head that leaves good lacing. Good curtains.
Taste: The taste is toffee and butterscotch, bread crust, then grape-fruit juice, tropical fruits, mango, and finally a good aromatic bitterness that lingers around.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, soft and oily, a big body, a dry and warm finish.
Overall: Still a really good DIPA, much hops but not unbalanced.
Note: On-tap at BA, Sankt Eriksgatan. Reviewed 2012-09-26.
