500 ml bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, apple, orange, pink grapefruit, tropical fruit and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, lemon, grapefruit and light orange zest with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks DSG. Clear dark amber, thin film. Toffee, lemon, butter candy (Wurther’s Original) aroma. Taste is soft, bitter that spreads around the mouth. A little oily texture, medium body, thick. Soft carbonation, sweet toffee finish.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks omhper for this bottle! Clear amber. Aroma of butter (diacetyl) and some floral hops. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, a bit of diacetyl and a moderately bitter and hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. OK.

7stern (644) - Bromma, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2012
Light amber with thick offwhite foam. Caramel and slight smoke. Full moutfeel, but not really typical for a DIPA.

3.3
MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle @ Haand festival. Pour light orange, with a small white head. the hop-character is a little mellow, and I would want a little more from a DIPA. Taste is a little sweet, with only a little bit of hopy bitterness. Average body, with an average carb.

3.3
fiulijn (20493) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2012
Dark amber color with red hue; creamy head. The aroma is really mediocre, far below expectations: puckery malt, sausages, make-up powder. Malt flavor with some caramel; very light residual sweetness, and light acidity, but the body is lean; there is a feeling of old beer; strong bitterness, some grass, but without much aromatic components.
Well drinkable, but nothing special.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle at HaandFestival 2012. Nice DIPA, Lots of herbs in nose and palate, but not really outstanding.

Cunningham (7969) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2012
Orange colour with a white head. Hoppy and fruity flavour. A bit weak flavour. Imperial DIPA? hmm. Well anyway a nice and tasty beer. Fruity and hoppy flavour. A nice malty background.
[Bottle from Systembolaget in Uddevalla, Sweden]
