On tap at Akkurat, pours a pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hop, biscuity malts and hay. Flavour of pungent hops, straw, biscuity malts, and more grassy hops. Quite grassy hoppy and dry, with a wonderful balance. Fantastic lager.

En god lager men lämnar inga större avtryck i gommen. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell.

bergstaden (3029) - Røros, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2013
Golden with a white head - nice malty aroma - good malt body with a nice hop bitterness in the back - good malt in the finish with some hop bitterness in the back - this was nice

On tap. Very pale with big white head. Aroma low, of caramel and pale malts, not a lot of hop notes here. Taste: caramel, a bit grainy with low bitterness.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours pale golden with a frothy head that settles with a layer of thickish scum islands for the rest of the session. The beer is slightly hazy. Aroma is bready, munich helles like, with some sweet fruity scents. The taste is more bread and malt, backed up nicely with hop bitterness, that discretely lingers in the aftertaste providing some peppery tastes. This is one of my favorite swedish lagers, no doubt one of the best. But I think it has lost some of it’s freshness over the years. But this is a great lager, well comparable with the bigger houses from Munich. Well done!

Cunningham (8069) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2013

Appearance: Golden color with a fine frothy white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malt and light hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild caramel malt and light hoppy. Some fruity notes.
Overall impression: Ordinary lager from a nice brewery. Had a little higher hopes from a premium lager made at this brewery. Anyway nice and easy drinkable.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2016 500ml bottle. Golden body with a small white head. Light bread, some hops, corn and butterscotch in the aroma. Flavor is similar, but with a bit more hrassy hops and honey.

Njae! Traditionell var den kanske men inte särskilt god. Mesigt humlad. Yxpilsnerkänsla. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent lager. A bit metallic. I just drank it but don’t remember too much about it.
