(Bottle). Aroma and taste of roasted malt and some coffee. Also hints of smoke and an acidity that is almost vinous. Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle: Thanks Hackobock: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium to smaller sized ashy beige light brown head on top of a black colored beer.
Aromas of lots of roast, some oatmeal, some coffee, coal, some bay leaf/liquorice tints, light ashy and a hint of soy sauce.
Flavours of some coffee, bay leaf, bitters, light dry, some coal, malt roast, light cardboard/paper tint and some dried toasted leaves.
After a short period of time the roast kicks in and makes it a less thin beer.
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, roast, coffee, some bay leaf/liquorice tones and some malts.
Low carbo, light watery mouthfeel, medium bodied and a watery texture. Abrakarl (457) - SWEDEN - JUN 18, 2014
Not my favourite type and not as rich as I want them to be. Still smoky and nice aroma. Nice brewery but not the best Swedish brewery. Slighty outside of Stockholm. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - JUN 12, 2014
(33cl bottle from Systembolaget Hyllie; Bbd: April 2016) Pours black with medium, tan head that recedes fairly quickly leaving some lace. Decent regeneration. Aroma is roasted malt and butterscotch, with a metallic hint. Watery texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a slightly roasted finish. Flavour follows the nose. Pours black with a small white head. Loads of dark crisp bread, finnish memma, soy sauce and toffee. Rather dry flavour with a taste of julmust (swedish soft drink), and nice roasted malt. Quite nice.

Bottle via trade with Hackobock. Thanks. Pours black with a beige head and lacings. Coffee, caramel, toffee, licorice and a touch of ashes and charcoal. Smoothand medium bodied. Quite decent. Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 30, 2014
I haven’t had that many Swedish porters, but I think this must be one of the best. A very rounded taste, good roasty taste with a good overall hop identity on top of a sturdy backbone. Considering the low ABV I think this beer is quite an accomplishment. dnicolaescu (2703) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - APR 27, 2014
BOTTLE 25 CL from rosenbergh. Thank you, Jan!
Look: pitch black with a big espresso head.
Aroma: ashy/dusty with distinct sour/brett notes, some kind of dusty „nordic” berries.
Taste: quite dry, well roasted with a rosted acid hint, juniper?, brett sourness, prickly co2 acidity.

250 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Jet black pour with a fairly large tan head. Lots of roasted malts, chocolate and fresh ground coffee on the nose. Taste follows the nose with the additional liqourice notes. MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - APR 20, 2014
Pour is really dark "translucent" brown, with a nicely looking, one fingered tan n’ frothy head...
Aroma is really roast, with plenty of malts, coffee, hints of smoke, faint milky chocolate, slight hoppy/grassy notes, faint notes of nuts n’ leather.
Taste is mostly bitter, with faint sweetness up front.
Slightly watery body, with a semi-flat carbonation. Thanks to mr. Bursprak for bringing this back to me from Sweden...
