The aroma is light: sweet, malty with roasted notes. The aroma is too light. The color is pitch black with a beutiful chocolate brown head. The flavor is sweet and malty with good roasty notes. A nice porter - especially considering the alcohol content. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2006

Tk2 Bottle at Chris o’s…deep black, fruity roast malts, rich piney roasts ,oddness butnice 3.9
Sampled cask conditioned. Very dark brown. Licorice aroma. Light body. Tastes of molasses, coffee and butter. Medium sweet. Finishes salty. Very much an English style cask porter. Good, but not one of the top beers from this brewery. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2008
(On tap) Pours black and completely opaque with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of sweet, hard roasted malts, vanilla and dried fruits and an almost vinous touch. Surprisingly full-bodied with plenty of hard roasted malt. Lightly sweet with a light malt bitterness in the finish. Nice and very harmonious. 190908
