Cask, 4.0%. OK liquorice aroma. Black colour, light brown head. The flavour is liquorice, a bit sweet, but nicely balanced. Low carbonation. Quite flavourful for its ABV. Finn (7516) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2006

(Draught) Pours dark to black with a light brown head. Roasted malt and sour coffee in aroma. Hints of smoke and cocoa in both nose and taste. A bit roasted flavour with sour coffee and a citrusy bitterness. Light to medium body. voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 7, 2006
Black and clear with a large rocky brown head. Light caramel aroma, with a light smoke and mocha too. Bitter mouthful, fairly dry and maybe a little thin. Flavours of dry cocoa, and light bitter roast character. Dry roasty finish, a great stout, would be great if they knocked the abv back to 3.5 and put it into supermarkets... but I guess thats just asking too much.

Bottled, Svenska Dagar, Pikkulintu, Finland. Very distinctive liqurice and some smoke in the aroma. Deep, dark brown colour, small light brown head. A bit young taste, quite harsh. Maybe we got a bad batch/bottle. Interesting birch in the finish, almost like being in a sauna! gunnfryd (14828) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 25, 2006

Bottled at Haket, Gothenburg. Jet black with a nice tan, almost brown, head. Chocolate, mocha, coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. The flavor has chocolate and bitterness, and could use some more to show off. Thin to medium body and a dryish and dusty mouthfeel. Long dry, coffee-bitter finish. A mild and quaffable stout. Cask Conditioned at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark color; no head. Both aroma and flavor are quite fresh, with notes of roasted malt, much more in the taste; monodimensional yet easy drinkable, good Stout.
