Ganska mycket lättare än sin "storebror" extra. Trevlig brända toner, kaffe, choklad ock lakrits, men lite för lätt och tunn för min smak. abemorsten (3652) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 15, 2010
Bottle at Loch Ness, Stockholm.
Light brown creamy head on a black body with clear brown edges. Excellent lacing.
Abbey ale aromas with candy, rock sugar and roasted grains.
Bitter, sweet flavors with Belgian ale yeast, liqorice and roasted aromas present.
Dry, with a roasted acidity in the finish. Medium body and gentle carbonation. Pretty good stuff. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 13, 2010

Black one with a nice foamy and stable beige head. Looks pretty good.... Aroma of peat and burnt wood, roasted grains, some tobacco. Medium bodied stout with a nice oily burnt wood character with a sourish bit of hop and peat. Some caramel, earthy dark chocolate.
Tap. Poured black with a firm, beige foam. Roasted aroma with coffee, molasses, plum, hints of red grapes, somewhat earthy, woody. Light body, medium carbonation. Wasn’t outstanding, but it was good. Koyo (251) - SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2010
Bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden. Nice black colour with a thick foam. Taste is very rich and rewarding, sweet and a slight bitterness in the finish.

Pours a beautiful black colour with a foamy beige head. Syrup, chocolate and roasted malts on the nose. Similar flavour with some sweetness. Medium bodied and a very rich mouthfeel. A very decent low-ABV stout.
Draught @ Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm. Black with light brown creamy head. Aroma is buttery, with roasted malt and cold coffee. Thin body with some bitterness, dissipating quickly into a watery finish. I always come back to this stout simply because I love the "extra" version, and I always gets disappointed, this is simply nowhere even near Sotholmen Extra. 300ml, served rather chilled from tap before noon at Glenfiddich Warehouse in Gamla Stan. 4% abv. according to the information on the board. Nice, beige tophead. Near pitch black body. Subdued smell of roasted, semi-sweet malts. Roasted malt in flavour containing hints of coffee bitterness. Easy to drink and rather watered to the palate (Stockholm, 28.07.2010). Deep black body, tan head. Aroma jhas chocolate, roasted malts, dry hay and some liqourice. Flavour is nice complex mixture of dark flavours. Quite blurry though. Linnet (1892) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2010
